Here I am writing to update on Noah's progress. He is very master in categorizing. We use pairing card to train him. As usual it was very challenging at first but soon Noah picked up the skills in 1-2 weeks time. Noah loves the picture cards and thus it was rather easy to motivate him.
The next gross motor skill that Noah is picking up this 2 weeks is running backward. All the while Noah has no problem walking backward and thus it is not an difficult task for him to pick up.
Noah is currently on and off holding pen in tripod position. We have been training him for this since years ago, when he was two.
Noah is still not able to colour inside the box. He hates colouring . He prefers scribble. On top of that, I am training him to draw lollipop and join to dot to form a square. Noah doesn't like it.
For this two weeks, I will be training him to colour inside the box. The next difficult task for Noah to pick up is patterning, where Noah struggles to understand the concept.
Jumping from side to side and jumping backward are the next goals for Noah gross motor skills.
